Cormetal S.A Expands and Modernizes Its Operations in PILT

Cormetal S.A continues to strengthen its presence in the Villa MarĂa Industrial, Logistics, and Technology Park (PILT) with an ambitious expansion and modernization project, reinforcing its commitment to growth, continuous improvement, and innovation.

Since its foundation in 1976, the company has been a leader in the commercialization of steel materials in the region. Over time, it expanded its offerings to include sheet metal cutting and bending, industrial facility construction, and, since 1993, the manufacturing of semi-trailers and trailers as its primary activity.

To sustain its growth, diversify its product portfolio, and optimize industrial processes, the company is currently expanding its facility at PILT with the construction of its third industrial plant. This expansion adds over 1,500 square meters to the existing 4,500 square meters, significantly increasing production capacity and operational efficiency. The ongoing project includes the relocation and expansion of the cutting and bending sector, which is considered the core of the industrial process.

This development will allow Cormetal S.A to double its operational capacity, enhance efficiency, and improve service quality.

This infrastructure growth also involves integrating state-of-the-art technology in material processing. The company is acquiring advanced laser cutting machines, press brakes, flatteners, and other equipment, which will substantially boost its production capabilities.

In parallel, Cormetal S.A is working on a joint project with a major automotive company to expand its operations, diversify its business, and create new job opportunities. This initiative is expected to be completed by 2025.

With this strategic expansion, Cormetal S.A reaffirms its leadership in the industry, leveraging innovation and technological advancements to drive growth and competitiveness in the sector.
