The renowned singer Justin Timberlake arrived in Argentina on a private jet, surrounded by tight security measures, ahead of his performance at the latest edition of Lollapalooza Argentina.
Justin Timberlake’s Arrival Causes a Stir
The artist caused an uproar on social media after leaving Buenos Aires airport wearing a hoodie in an attempt to hide his face. Fans were disappointed as the singer did not greet them, and multiple sources claimed he appeared tired.
Timberlake landed from Fort Lauderdale, United States, in the early hours of Tuesday, March 18, aboard an Airbus 300 alongside his entire team. He is set to perform on Friday, March 21, as one of the festival’s top headliners.
Heightened Security Upon Arrival
The famous American singer, who was arrested in his home country last year, left Ezeiza International Airport in an armored Mercedes-Benz van, escorted by four additional vehicles. Upon arriving at his hotel in the Retiro district of Buenos Aires, Timberlake continued to avoid the public eye. His security team even used umbrellas to block photographers from capturing images of him.
Alanis Morissette Also Set to Perform at Lollapalooza
In the coming hours, Canadian singer Alanis Morissette is expected to land in Argentina as well. She will share the stage with Justin Timberlake on Friday, marking two of the most significant acts celebrating the festival’s 10th anniversary in Argentina. That same day, audiences will also enjoy performances by Chilean singer Mon Laferte and the duo Catriel & Paco Amoroso.
A Weekend Full of Musical Stars
The festival will continue throughout the weekend, featuring renowned artists such as Tool, Shawn Mendes, Wos, La K’onga, and the legendary Brazilian band Sepultura on Day 2. The grand finale on Sunday will include performances by Olivia Rodrigo, Rufus Du Sol, Tan Biónica, Nathy Peluso, Benson Boone, Caribou, and many more.
