RedUniBlock: A New Academic Network for Blockchain Education in Argentina

At Champagnat University in Argentina, a landmark agreement was signed between multiple universities to establish RedUniBlock, a network aimed at connecting academic institutions with blockchain and cryptocurrency programs. This initiative was announced by Romina Sejas, Co-Founder of ETH KIPU, through her LinkedIn account.

Strengthening Blockchain Education and Research

The agreement was formalized during the second edition of Cryptovendimia in Mendoza, Argentina. This event gathered educators and industry experts with a clear objective: to strengthen blockchain education and research, promote knowledge exchange, and coordinate inter-institutional efforts to expand the network by incorporating more universities.

Sejas expressed her strong support for the initiative and congratulated the universities that joined RedUniBlock:

“Congratulations to the signing universities for driving this project forward. At ETH KIPU, we will support this effort to ensure more people have access to quality education in Ethereum and Web3.”

Expanding Blockchain Knowledge Across Universities

Sejas also encouraged other higher education institutions to join similar initiatives, providing essential tools for those interested in learning about blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and their impact on various industries.

“If you are part of a university, you can sign an agreement to become a member of the network,” she stated in her LinkedIn post.

ETH KIPU is a non-profit foundation dedicated to strengthening the Ethereum ecosystem through education and cooperation. According to their official website, they provide free education to the Latin American community on Ethereum using sustainable and accessible formats for all citizens.

The Growing Blockchain Ecosystem in Argentina

This initiative comes at a time when Argentina is witnessing significant developments in the blockchain sector. Crypto.com recently obtained regulatory approval from the National Securities Commission (CNV) in Argentina, further demonstrating the country’s growing embrace of digital assets and decentralized technologies.

As blockchain technology continues to expand, networks like RedUniBlock play a crucial role in fostering innovation and preparing future professionals for the challenges and opportunities of the Web3 era.
