The fourth edition of South Summit Brazil is set to take place in Porto Alegre, bringing together entrepreneurs, professionals, and investors from around the world. Among the selected finalists for the prestigious Startup Competition, three Argentine companies—Inceptia AI, Wise CX, and Seed Matriz—have made it to the final stage, standing out among over 2,100 candidate startups.
Argentine Startups in the Spotlight
Inceptia AI, competing in the Enterprise category, has been recognized for its AI-powered voice and chat robots designed to optimize corporate processes. Wise CX, also in the Enterprise category, provides AI-driven customer experience management solutions. Seed Matriz, participating in the Sustainability & Climate Tech category, offers a data-driven approach to promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
A Highly Competitive Event
The competition features 50 finalist startups from a diverse range of countries, with a strong Latin American presence. A total of 41 projects hail from Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Uruguay, and Brazil, while others represent Germany, the United States, Indonesia, Poland, and Portugal.
Organized by IE University in collaboration with the Government of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, South Summit Brazil will showcase startups across five key categories:
- Global Winner
- Best Team
- Most Scalable
- Most Disruptive
- Most Sustainable
Finalists will be evaluated based on innovation, viability, scalability, sustainability, team quality, and investment potential.
South Summit Brazil: A Platform for Innovation
Scheduled to take place from April 9 to 11 in Porto Alegre, the event will feature internationally renowned speakers, including:
- Sebastián Noguera, President and Co-founder of Habi
- Guibert Englebienne, Co-founder and CEO of Globant
- Ed Soo, CTO of Lenovo
This year’s theme, “Beyond Resilience,” highlights the importance of evolving beyond traditional resilience to embrace a future-oriented vision. The event will also address the need for robust and sustainable ecosystems, particularly in the wake of severe flooding in Porto Alegre between April and May 2024.
South Summit Brazil’s Growing Impact
The previous edition of South Summit Brazil attracted over 23,500 attendees from 55 countries, including more than 800 speakers, 3,000 startups, and 900 investment funds managing a collective portfolio of $213 billion USD.
